Mantas Swim Club Weekly Update - THANK YOU

Mantas Families,

Thank you to all who were able to help make our Minnesota Regional Championships meet a success. I appreciate all of our volunteers who stepped in when they saw a need and helped fill a role.  

Our kids swam great! There were so many best times throughout the weekend.  When swims might not have gone the way a swimmer wanted, it wasn’t detrimental to the rest of the weekend for anyone.  That shows that the swimmers are resilient and were able to bounce back.  Mostly, I enjoyed all of the fun that was had on the pool deck.  Swimmers smiled and laughed and let their excitement guide their results.  

Practices for the next few weeks will be for swimmers participating in the State Championship meets only.  State swimmers in New Prague will arrange practice times with Coach Daisy. 

State Practices in Mankato will happen the next 3 weeks at DMMS at 6:30pm. We have finalized entries for our 10 & Under State meet and our Senior State meet.  Final entries for the 11-14 State meet will be finalized this afternoon.

As I told the kids on the pool deck yesterday afternoon, it is my privilege to coach such a great group of swimmers. I am honored to lead a great team.
