NEW Mantas Record Breakers and Podium Finishers!
Mantas Families,
Congratulations to all who raced in the two State Meets that took place this past weekend.
Zara Maleche was crowned STATE CHAMP in 5 DIFFERENT EVENTS at the 10 & Under State Championships! Other podium finishers in the 10 & Under meet include Bruno Stanglmaier, James Casterton, and Nia Maleche.
At the Senior State meet Elliot Bartell placed 2nd in the 100 Fly with a new team record of 49.18, along with a 6th place finish in the 200 Fly.
Jack Swanson also broke a team record in the 1650 freestyle, swimming a 17:06.11 while placing 10th overall in the meet.
I am so proud of all our state performances. There were so many smiles and high 5’s, new PR’s and some very tired swimmers at the end of the weekend.
We finish our season with one more Short Course State Meet for swimmers ages 11 – 14. They start racing this Thursday at the University of MN.
