MANTAS SWIMMERS OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER!

We are excited to announce the Mantas Swim Club Swimmers of the Month for December! 

The “Swimmer of the Month” is given to athletes in each training group, Novice, Age Group, and Senior at the end of each month.   

Criteria used to award these athletes are:    

Practice Attendance   

Attitude & Sportsmanship     

Competition   

Improvement

Novice, Swimmers of the Month – 

Macie Craven: Novice

Macie is our novice swimmer of the month for December! Macie comes to practice everyday with a smile on her face ready to work. She also competed in her first swim meet last month and it was so fun to see all her hard work pay off. Congrats Macie!!

Lauren Ryan: Novice

Lauren was recently awarded Swimmer of the Month, a recognition she earned through her exceptional dedication and commitment to the team. Her consistent attendance at practice and unwavering effort to improve have made her a standout among her peers. This month, she also participated in her first swim meet, where she showed impressive resilience and sportsmanship, pushing herself beyond her limits. Lauren’s positive attitude, hard work, and determination have not only earned her this award but also set a great example for her teammates.

Hannah Knutson: Age Group 1

Hannah stands out for her exceptional dedication and growth in the pool. She works incredibly hard every practice, taking each session seriously and staying focused on improvement. Hannah is a great listener and she takes feedback to heart and applies it effectively, leading to impressive progress in both her technique and speed. Her commitment and determination is truly inspiring - congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Hannah!

Bruno Stanglmaier: Age Group 2

Our December swimmer of the month is Bruno! Bruno put in a lot of work to improve his technique and performance, showing great progress in his swimming. He shows up every day with a smile and ready to swim. Bruno recently crushed his best times at the Foxjet Winter Classic!  We can’t wait to see what he does with the rest of this year! Good job Bruno!

Senior Swimmer of the Month – 

Jordan Woodford: Senior 

Jordan is committed to improving. She showed up in December ready to work and all the way through Christmas break she put in the effort. Her commitment produced some great swims at her first meet back in Farmington.  She is a fierce competitor and a great teammate to have on the deck with you.  She’s going to have a very fast Championship season and we’re here for all of it.
